Welcome to our Canine Carnival! Enjoy a day with your pooch at the Carroll County Ag Center. Come for our classic carnival games with a pooch-themed twist, as well as our array of vendors for you and your pets. Doors open to the public at 11.

We are partnering with the trainers at Clever Canidae on Saturday, April 18th, to host a live Q and A session that is open to the public! We invite folks to come and ask trained professionals your questions about your dog. From behaviors you might like an explanation for, to methods of handling potentially awkward or difficult scenarios your dog might come across, to any general concerns you have for your pet, the folks at Clever Canidae want to provide information and techniques to help your dog live its best life. The Q&A will be at our headquarters at 102 Tuggle Street from 11:00 A.M. to noon.

We are working with volunteers from the Shelter to help with dogs up for adoption from the shelter for Pupfest at Printer’s Ale! Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to help walk the dogs around and help show them off to prospective families. Send an email to [email protected] if you would like to help out, either for the full length of the event or if you are able to be there for a portion of the time.

We would like to take time to thank and honor the organizations and individuals that have helped the Humane Society in our various projects of the previous year! Come by our headquarters on Tuggle Street for refreshments, and to give thanks to all that helped us succeed in our various events of 2025. We also hope to give the community a glimpse into what we have in store for the upcoming year, and an open invitation to get involved to help make 2026 an even greater success!

Join us at CCHS headquarters (102 Tuggle Street, on the corner of Tuggle and Maple) on Saturday, Sept. 21, between 11:30 and 1:30 for an adoption event. We’ll have some great dogs from the Carroll County Animal Shelter. Come meet them and show them some love— and maybe take one home! We’ll also be accepting donations of dry dog or cat food for our Empty Pet Bowls food pantry— or cash donations to buy the food.
Fundraise for us
Bake sales, birthday collections, workplace drives, and shop collection tins. If you want to raise money or collect supplies for the animals, tell us and we will help.
